To add my two cents: NuShield runs its business on Mac OS X with only a
hardware firewall and NO virus protection at all and we have done so
for over 6 years. We get hit with as many as 15 virus attacks per day.
They just don't run on Unix variants. As a primarily email business, we
have our email address in many thousands of places. While I monitor the
Mac news boards for this issue, I have yet to find any exploit in the
wild that affects this OS. Why you wish to conclude this is so is up to
you. However, I can't imagine the grief that I'd have if this were on
Windows boxes.
