Speaking of pre-production units...
I do have an actual MP120 (2.0) unit that was an Apple pre production
model...
Interestingly it also has the case which only says "MessagePad" on it,
so this might be something Apple did with Pre-production units in the
110/120/130 family?
I know mine is a pre production unit for several reasons...
1) No sticker on the back. Except it has a sticker above where the
normal one would be,"if you problems or need service call CFA
Engineering (18002234897)"
2) Strange and unique stylus, like the collapsible from my regular 120,
but with a brass metal part, and amazingly the tip itself is spring
loaded (very cool).
3) When I got it the owner info was Newton Tester at 1 infinite loop...
Still works great too...
