I think it had something to do with the orientation of the screen -
vertical screen, yes; horizontal screen (or slightly tilted, as the OP
I think suggested, probably not, especially depending on how the pen
worked (slight resistence like the Newton pen, or something like a
Wacom, where you don't need *any* pressure on the screen if you don't
want to [button press])
