the article in wired is not very telling. as i understand from reading
the website their technology is about translating binary code from one
cpu-platform to another. it will not run windows programs on linux or
OSX programs on windows. so what's the point at all? QuickTrans
translates the machine code to an intermediate representation that
gets translated to code for the target platform. That seems really
cool technology. Unfortunately it will not help much for running an
ARM code on an ARM machine. They say it runs unix software on another
unix operating system. AFAIK NewtonOS is not a unix-like system (quite
the opposite)
