If you ask me, then yes I would love to see the Newton take on new
hardware whether it be a processor boost but mostly to have it
integrate new technolgies. I am still new to the Newton and so far I
have found it to be pleasant to use and there are some interesting
apps, although I haven't installed many but from sites I visited it is
a great PDA for sure.
The OS is great, for that matter the hardware rarely slows down, Newton
2100.
If I had some other PDA, capable of running NOS, I would consider both
the new PDA and Einstein, but if Einstein will one day run on say a
powerbook, sorry, I wouldn't see the point and if that's not the point,
then I am glad it isn't.
YES I do want to see the Newton OS take on new hardware add ons and if
it means running Eistein on a competing PDA, again I would look at it.
But, you wouldn't expect me to get rid of my original Newton would you?
