Thanks for mentioning this. I'm sure that Paul would like to know about
the conflict. I have cross-posted this response to the NPDS list so that
it can be recorded in those archives as well.
It might be useful for you to register and report the issue in Paul's bug
tracking database.

A couple of things...
1) This message is not off topic because it still has to do with the
Newton, Newton software and support thereof.
2) There is traffic on the NPDS when people actually post to the list.
You didn't post this issue over there, so we couldn't help you out on
that list.
