A hard reset is also called a "brain wipe" because it erases all data on
the Newt. The procedure is the same no matter what Newton. Press the
reset button on the back (or in the battery compartment for a 1x0 model)
while holding the power switch down. A box will pop up asking if you
want to erase all data. Tap yes twice to this and poof everything is
gone. Make sure you have everything backed up you want to keep AND DO
NOT have any cards in the slots when you do this. It will likely damage
them.
