Hi,
You can't actually use an airport card from apple in your newt. While they may look like normal PC-cards, two (or more?) of the pins have been swapped around making them incompatible with arything other than officially supported Apple Hardware.
You can, once set correctly, use a newt with a wi-fi card in an existing wireless network.
