Actually even some old Wyse 286 dumb-terminals had pretty cool
keyboards. Ah the halcyon days of bootroms, novell, dos, wordperfect,
xywrite and quattro . . .

You know, being into vintage computing I have often asked
myself, why do I like the computing of the 70's and 80's. Aside from
the stark difference of what I have to use at work everyday, I did come
up with something. In many cases it was simply a case of it being from
a easier time, or perhaps, a time we survived and we look back in
revelry at all the good things it had to offer. We all too often forget
all the negative things that the age had to offer.
This is one thing I realize as I tinker with my Atari 800.
Sometimes my Mac II. Reflects to earlier, easier days. That, and they
did have some great games on them. I was playing Joust on the 800 last
night. :)
