Use the Newt for a while and see if it acts funny.
Pretty much any hardware mod isn't going to be noticeable in how the
Newt behaves. I would bet that if any mods were done, they were the
stability/reliability enhancing ones (the 130 has history of bad power
regulators and iffy backlight), in which case there's no way to know
from behavior.
Unless of course you _expect_ it to crash. ;P
