I considered the possibility that the problem is due to the card.
However, since AppleTalk works perfectly, I am at a loss to come up
with a reason why the use of TCP/IP would be precluded on the same
card. The protocol is supposed to be independent of the hardware. But
since I don't have an explanation, perhaps my assumption is wrong.
