> Hello Everybody,
>
> I just finished another eBook on English language and grammar, "How to
> Speak and \
> Write Correctly". It is an older book title that I gleaned from the
> Project
> Gutenberg web site. Completely free and clear!
Good one! Matt, don't forget to drop me that about-document.
> The title is available on DJ and Marty's wonderful Newton eBook Library
> web site in both MP 2X00 and Classic formats.
More precisely it's here
http://www.stillnewt.org/Library/_Nonfiction/_Arts%20&%20Humanities/
_Writing/ .
> Check it out!
By all means, folks! Browse the Library's directory structure up and
down.
Most titles have an about.txt in their folders. Also the New
Additions-document gives a good pointer
http://www.stillnewt.org/Library/New%20Additions.txt . 12 new Newton
ebooks
editions posted in July, both fiction and non-fiction, plus a batch of
apps
that were splattered all over the web and have been collected here (can
you
say "Newton Connectivity CD"? ;=} ), courtesy of their developers'.
Oh, and a new trick I've got, dunno, if I'd already mentioned that,
but
good to take up when you're making your next ebook yourself:
Wikipedia.org has a tremendous amount of really good articles on many
books and authors. I've started to peek there when doing books and add
that
article and pics to the book to provide some background. Always
improves the
experience for me if I know more about the writer, the period and the
circumstances. For examples check the new "Hunting of the Snark" edition
I've done, the latest Cory Doctorow-novel, the three new titles by
William
Morris (of Pre-Rafaelite fame, also translator of Sigurd Saga,
architect,
designer -- ref. Arts & Crafts -- and publisher of beautiful books)...
You'll get more out of the works if you know more about the worker.
