Hi there. For the Newton hardware hackers out there, I thought this might
be interesting. Its a USB-host chip that allows keyboard, mouse,
joystick, and USB mass storage devices to be connected. Its geared at
small microcontroller devices, but I immediately thought "Newton":

I see it mainly as an easy way to interface a USB keyboard to the Newt. It
could be done with a dongle or an internal card. The mass storage thing
would be cool, but it would not only an elaborate software driver, but
would be slow (2Mbits/sec max) if you used Serial 0 and externally clocked
it.
More of a "thats cool" kind of thing. I've long hoped someone would come
out with a "easy to use" USB host controller.
