I also took my Newton to Ireland and England a couple of years ago. I bought
a mechanical adapter from American Tourister and used my normal Newton
adapter. Electrically it is compatible and works just fine in both Ireland
and England.

Subject: [NTLK] Newtons and the UK electrical...
All you worldwide listers can help me on this one. In a week and a half I
am travelling to Wales and Ireland on vacation. I am taking the Newton,
iPod, and Digital Camera with me. I know that the camera and iPod will do
UK voltage. I am not sure about the Newt's AC adapter. Can I simply buy an
adapter, or do I need an inverter and adapter combo (more $$).
Thanks,
Scott
