Never said that Henrico County was smart, did I?
I remember all the crying on the lists when it was announced that it
was only for Henrico County residents. And how were those resident
ID's checked?
When it was open to anyone, there sure were a lot of Mac-less people
on the LEM lists (and others) planning to go and get an iBook for a
"bargain" price.
And how many of those do you think would have wound up on eBay?
Would that have been any better for the taxpayers of Henrico County?
