hi there from a brand new user

does anyone know of a way to get my compact flash card and adaptor to
work free of charge i have found http://www.kallisys.com/newton/ata/
but i would rather not pay 40 squid for the pleasure after forking
out 50 for the usb - serial adaptor

any and all advice is appreciated
