There was a discussion here earlier regarding the difference between
an exploitable platform versus an exploitable person. The biggest
difference between the Mac and Windows is that Windows offers both as
a viable entry way. The Mac only offers one, the human element. This
does not mean the Mac is more vulnerable. It merely means that humans
are stupid animals (myself included, so don't get all huffy :).
AFAIK, however, you can't turn off the security warnings on the Mac
unless you dig really deep. Windows practically offers the scripting
controls up to you on a platter.

In the end, Windows is a flawed platform which is slated to remain
thus until the end of time or Bill Gates, whichever comes first.
Windows got where it is through shady marketing and unethical
licensing restrictions for OEMs for Windows 3.x and 9x (i.e., fees
for every PC sold, whether it includes Windows or not, etc...) as
well as copycat design. Apple is big business as well, but they
aren't as shady as MS. I'll stick with Apple and Linux, thanks.
