Been thinking about the definitive list thing, and suppose you could
compile a list of all the unique features of the Newton, then check
them off as devices come out with this or that. Still missing the
essence of Newton, the vision of a future. Most of the PDAs that come
out just offer a bunch of features, most important is low cost, low
size, decent profit. The Newton came from a time when money was spend
on R & D for a long term plan more than market surveys for a short
term gain. There will never be another like it.
