An interesting side note if you are a Realtor in the state of New
Jersey.

NJ statues clearly stipulates "......all real estate contracts
_must_ be original signed documents......"

However, it has become "common practice" that virtually all NJ real
estate contract be faxed back and forth [sometimes with the requisite
caveat that all faxed versions are to be follow up with originals]
and are perceived as executed at the time the fax sent. This may
"sound" like a detail unworthy of an implications, however, having
been a NJ real estate broker, now retired, for over 25 years I can
tell you from first hand experience that deals have been made and
lost in "minutes" let alone the time it takes to mail or hand deliver
"original" documents. I can explain more detail as to the minutia of
permutations within even this tiny concept, but would be boring
everyone to death, so I think I'll go to the beach [we live across
the street ;-) instead !
