Hello list,

FYI - Information for those of us who use the Newton with the AirPort
Extreme Base Station :

After installing the latest firmware for my Apple AirPort Extreme (dual
ethernet, snow white) Base Station, earlier this month, I continuously
experienced DHCP problems with NIE 2.

I downloaded the 5.5.1 Firmware, released in december 2004, and
reinstalled it.

Guess what, it works great compared to the newer firmware ! No single
DHCP problem since 'downgrading' the Base Station.

Just like the Newton : 'older' doed not necessarily mean 'less good'.
