I have a MP130 that I am using with a Powerbook 1400 with OS 9.1. I use
Newton Connection Utilities to install packages and perform backups,
and to synchronize with Palm Desktop 2.6.3 (although the
synchronization with the palm software can be a bit flakey). I also
use either AppleWorks 5 or Microphone LT to move data between the MP and
the Powerbook for software that supports a serial terminal connection.
For either Mac application, I have settings files that I have saved to
simplify the process.
