I can understand your frustration. ;-) I had a wooden stand made once, and
we had to deal with these issues. I had a vague feeling, looking at your
images, that this might happen, but I guess I kind of figured you had taken
this into account. You may not want yours to be taller than the 2100, but on
my wooden stand, this is what we did. Actually, mine is based on the Marware
Executive stand, only not as elegant. ;-) Here are some photos of my stand.
