[NTLK] restoring from card to card

I have been storing all my content on the internal 32mb card--which
just died. However I have been backing up to another card via the
backup button in the card pref. I obtained a replacement 32mb card,
but unfortunately when I try to restore from the backup on the card,
it tries to restore to the internal memory not my replacement card
and fails. How do I restore from one card to another?

Newton 2100 with the last OS.
