Craig,
To enter a birthday in NOS 2.x, just bring up someone's address info in
"Names", and then click on the Add menu, and then click "Dates". From
there you can add a birthday and/or an anniversary. This will add the
event to Dates automatically, and I believe it will remind you (but if
it doesn't you could always tell it to manually).
