Notice that it's a great price for a collector's item.
7 years after its "death", the MessagePad (and its OS) is still an
advanced platform.

If that's your definition of a great price, I got a LOAD of old
computers to sell you ;)
Much as I love the Newton - NIB 4Mb Newton 2000, or New/Refurb Sony
Clie UX50 with Bluetooth, camera, Wireless, up to 4Gb storage with MS
Pro, same res but colour screen, and actually pocket sized... Hmm...
lemme think about this for a minute or so.
Hell, another 200 bucks and you can get a Sharp Zaurus with 4Gb HD and
640 x 480 screen in it, I think. Certainly not that far off it, anyway
- I think they're $700 or $800.
