writing longhand never gets any faster than about 50 words per minute.
Just about anyone that types with more than two finger can manage that
on text that they don't have to compose on the fly. Many people that do
a lot of typing can get 150 WPM out of their fingers. Shorthand can meet
that with the same amount of practice, but I don't think anyone's come
up with a Gregg recognizer for *any* PDA....
