[NTLK] AIM on Newton?

Does anyone know of an AIM or Jabber client for the Newton that
actually works? I have tried Newton IM, NewtChat demo (seems to work, I
can log in, but it logs out after about 5 seconds before I can add any
buddies) and another jabber client called NewtJab and none of them work.
