He did, indeed! That's whats called hijacking a (noble) cause to
further one's one miserable goals... Heck, the idea is: Somebody at
Apple will read this, so give 'em an earful, just for ole times sake.

Peter, Peter, you're just not being your old self. Flying car with
Firewire? In theory yes, but think of the extension cord, my man! The
Newton(TM) Flying Car will need Wifi, of course, and I hear the
Research Lab in Japan is already working on a driver (no braindead pun
intended at all) that will scan for open ports and auto-connect for
constant mobile network access.

As I don't really believe in Wifi but rather Bluetooth, I'll wait for
the Newton(TM) Hovercraft, which is scheduled to be relased the year
after. A design study has been demoed here, as you all know
http://www.rqriley.com/tri-fly.html .

Still might give up smoke signs at places where they don't etc. and so
on.

Man, you really want that flying cable-car piece of heap and call
yourself grounded? The Hovercraft, Peter, THAT'S where it's at!

Amen.

Still, anybody interested in the iPod going to vote in the petition
http://www.petitiononline.com/firewire/petition.html might still want
to namedrop the Newton in the comment. See my original post.

Good luck,

DJV.
