[NTLK] [POLL] Form of RSS feeds

Hi y'all,

So it turns out that one of your fellow listers has put together some code
that provides an RSS feed for the list. Which is nifty, but not quite ready
for public consumption.

I'd like your input on how the feed should be made available, and so I've
updated the poll on the list home page (link in my signature below) to find
out what people think.

Basicially, given that the content of an RSS feed can very easily end up on
any website, I'm concerned that some people might not like their posts used in
that way. There are two solutions to the problem:

-Don't include the full message bodies, just a summary and a link to the message
-Include the full message bodies but only for people subscribed to the list.
This would require you to be a list subscriber and then apply for a key, which
would be passed in the URL to the RSS feed.
-Some combination of the above options.

So, if you care about RSS and Newtontalk, please vote. DON'T VOTE BY REPLYING
TO THIS MESSAGE. Discuss by replying to this message :)
