For about $20US, Poder makes a digital thermometer designed to go into
refridgerators, on which you can set an upper & lower temp. An alarm will
sound if the specified range is exceeded. I use them in my children's rooms
so they don't get too hot/cold. At fine supermarkets/kitchen supply stores
near you.
