I think most people don't have the base NOS on their
MP2x00.
It sounds like Jeffrey wanted to get 717006 ROM dumped
- this likely
means he has applied or has other patches laready on
his Newt.

Jeffrey: Yup, I believe it's 717260 on one Newton,
and Paul's (I forget the number,) on the other.

Installing a Non-Standard ROM (ie. German if you have
a US Newt or
even a eMate 300 ROM will cause the Newt to flush the
Flash Ram IIRC.
Thus leaving the Base NOS .
