I put a ATA card on my MP 2000 and then turned on with na AC adaptor. After
that, the ATA never works, and a error message appears every time I insert
it on my Newton. The number of the error message is -10572.
Can anyone explain what happened?
I lost my ATA card?

Try a soft reboot on your Newt immediately before initiating an NCU
session.
I have found it helps to make that session work reliably.
I don't believe the -1 error has anything to do with the data.
