That is one of my back up plans. But like you said, it doesn't use TCP/IP.

Perhaps you could use the Sloup utility to reduce the amount of work
involved. I know it isn't tcp/ip but I've found it to be very reliable for
moving notes between the Newton and a W2k machine.
