Microdrive or not, unless the Newton somehow speeds up the way
it accesses larger drives, and how it inputs information, large storage
areas on the Newton are pointless.=09

Subject: Re: [NTLK] Hard Drive w/ Newton?
While this is true, MicroDrives are much more expensive and limited in=20
capacity than the 2.5" HDs the Datashuttle uses. What I was mainly=20
wondering was whether this adapter (or similar ones) could now or=20
eventually be able to work with these drivers to increase the Newton's=20
expandability. This was the only description I got of the item, so I do=20
not know the voltages. The biggest issue I thought would be whether it=20
were Cardbus (not compatible with the Newton), which I googled and=20
found out it was not. Has anyone tried something like this or similar=20
to hook up a hard drive (not microdrive) to your Newton? Thanks!
