Sonny,
Tried to stop the extensions from loading, only thing different was
that the logo stayed on the screen longer and the chime finished, still
not booting though.
Got brave and opened the Newt up, after reading the excellent
instructions on Frank's website I figured I didn't have anything to
lose. It really wasn't that hard to do. I removed the ROM card and
reinserted it, making sure it was well seated. Re-assembled the unit
and...
It still does the exact same thing. I believe the flash is corrupt as
you mentioned. It's wanting to boot but just can't.
I've tried contacting the ebayer who sold me this in the hopes that he
will give me my money back or at least give me another unit.
Thanks for the help you have given and if I can't get no satisfaction
from the seller I my certainly take you up on your offer to "fix" this
problem.
