On Newton Press for Windows you can easily hack the size of the book.

Go to the C:\Press folder and edit press.ini.

You'll see lines like this one:

Classic = 302,240,1,0

Each line defines a book format. The format is:

[Format Name] = [book height in pixels],[book width in pixels],[bit depth],0

Bit Depth should be 1 for all models except the 2x00 and eMate, which should be 4.

Using this info you can hack your own book sizes. For example, I made a
little ASCII table reference with a really small book size:
