[NTLK] IRDA installation problems

Hello list!

I've been using a Powerbook 2400c to install software onto my 2100.=20
I've tried both DIL Tester and the newer IRDA installer, but both work
very sporadically on my machine. It's a very weird situation,
actually... I get one chance per hour (or two) to even -attempt- to
install packages. For some reason it seems like the machine must be
cool (or something with the time) for the connection to even
establish, but it breaks very easily and usually fails. This happens
to both programs, but moreso with the later IRDA installer. It's very
very frustrating! There's so many packages I'd like to install but I
think I've only been successful with about 3. I'm currently running
OS 9.1.

Is there some type of special configuation I can use that would
eliminate most problems? Can anyone give me any guidelines or a
"checklist" to make sure everything's alright? Or is this just a
known problem with the 2400c? Thanks very much!

Morris
