Lee,

My apologies again for my harshness this am.

It's too bad Apple was so short sighted, an Ir port is nothing to add.
Anyway, send me you card and I'll get the drivers you want and/or need.

Subject: [NTLK] Re Help

Hi all
I relay appreciate everyone that has taken the time to respond.
In my first letter I wrote that I have had my newton for 10 months, on
hindsight I have had it over a year.
I was given my 16mb card last Christmas. I have tried to Bootstrap.
Believe me. I tried first to get it going with what it came with. But I am
sure (now) the modem is dead. Before I came to that conclusion, I was given
my 16mb card. Then I bought my first Wifi card, before I opened it I found
it was the wrong voltage(it cant be returned).
Then I bought the card I now have.
I have installed ncu on my PowerBook and even dug out a 10 year old windows
PC ( Don't wont to offend but YuK!!).
I may sound cheep but I don't wont to spend more money on something that may
not work.
If the question is why I went with a wifi card, it is because I have a net
at home and work. If I get the card to work I can use it to connect to my
PowerBook also.
As far as the struggling along to learn more, well this may be true, but I
have.
The Newton is not the only thing I am working on. I just do not have the
time to continue to chase my own tail around.
Maybe I'll brake down and buy a cable to hook to the PC. I am afraid this
will be another dead end.
Thanks Lee
P.S. my PowerBook does not have a ir port apologies accepted.
But I did try to sync it to a palm in hopes that would work. then I could
send drivers to my Palm then to newton.
