Mr. Rehorst,
I was not insinuating that UNNA was setup incorrectly. :-(
I'm certain you know what you are doing. I was thinking more along the lines
that perhaps there was some wierd thing about the NCU archive file that,
when downloaded as ASCII, somehow made it seem like a working program, even
though it was not. I can not, for the life of me, understand how what I just
posited makes sense, but I'm trying to justify the observation that Adriana
originally made.

However, after his recent response, it would seem that something might be
wrong with his Safari installation. I have never had it place a .txt
extension at the end of any stuffit file I have downloaded - both from UNNA
and many many other places. I don't think I have seen it put a .txt
extension on any file other than a text file, actually. Its all very wierd.

Anywho, I just finished installing NCU on my iBook. I downloaded it with
Firefox. I started the install, left it for about 16 hours, came back, hit
'install' and it took another 20 minutes to complete. I do not know how long
it took between when I left it for 16 hours and when I returned. I know
that, before, it took more than 10 minutes to complete that step, because I
killed the process after 10 minutes thinking it was hung.

Patience is the key! :)

Best wishes!
