A few years ago some people talked about doing the same thing in North=20
America, but it never went anywhere, likely due to lack of interest and =
cost.

Let's face it, here in America we are a people of "diminishing =
returns". We REALLY like what we like, and we do fork out a lot of =
money for things, but it really depends. For $1000 you could about =
pick up another 12 Newton MessagePads. Or a new computer, or a new =
about anything gadgety related.
I think if someone made a clear shell that cost no more than $150 a =
lot of Americans would jump on that.
Here is how my mind thinks when it comes to things I like to buy...
> $20 - Is Cash ok?
$20-$40 - How would you like that paid for? Paypal? Check your =
E-mail.
$40-$75 - Hmmm... if I wait till the next paycheck I'll pick that up.
$75-$150 - Hmmmmmmmmm..... maybe sometime this month.. perhaps... =
maybe in two months I think.
$150 < - Probably don't need it THAT badly.
And that is how I think.
Take that, and then put a $1000 price tag for an accessory for my $30 =
Newton 2100, yeh.. ain't gonna happen. :)
