Thwarted again.
Now I see that upon expanding the 2100CD image fie from UNNA, it is
NOT the original Newton CD which shipped with new 2000s' or 2100's in
the the box. Its is some type of an "update" CD.
QUESTION, if I download and install the apple/connection_utils/ForMac/
NewtonConnectionUtilities/NCU1.0Installer.sit file from UNNA, am able
to properly expand and install it to my PowerMac G4, do should I then
be running some kind of update from the UNNA 2100CD image?
I will be connecting 2000's and 2100's to my G4, initially via a
hardwired serial cable, then later expand to wireless once I get a
sold hardwired cable serial connection.
Thanks again for your patience. It's just this fundamental details I
need some help with. The complex stuff is the easy part for me but
at the moment I'm just stuck getting a simple wired serial connection
going.
TIA, John
