Dumb Question:
I understand that .PDF files can not be directly loaded onto and then
read by a Newton 2x00. If this be the case then is the following true
and is something like PDFconv the way to go if you have a .pdf file that
you want to view on your Newton, or is there a better way?:
PDFConv - A PDF converter for the Apple Newton
This Java program is intended to convert a PDF file (for which currently
no viewer exists on the Apple Newton) into a series of images
(currently: JPEG, PICT or BMP), together with a HTML file or a
NewtonBook source file containing these images. The result then can be
viewed with NewtScape or as a NewtonBook.
TIA, John
