Re: [NTLK] Bounty for TextSync

OK, I've removed bignotes. I have a simple note with 5 words. I've
saved this text file using all three Line Endings (LF,CR, CR+LF) and
none of that ever makes a difference. I created notes using Word
(saving as Text) and TextEdit (again, Text not RTF) and TextMate.

Using serial connection via USB leads to a Newton Error right as it
begins to sync the note from the Mac.

Using TCP/IP (via 3Com ethernet card) just causes the Sync to freeze
at the point where the note begins to sync from the mac (where I get
the error above).

I don't think there is an easy resolution of this, so my original post stands:

Any one else having problems please add to the bounty so we can get
someone with Programming Skilz to make some enhancements to NoteSync.

My NewtSync is the .3 version from sourceforge, the NewtSync slip on
my newton says '0.3m'. The TextNote is the plugin from Glass Onion
Software

I got this error message, ONCE from Newtsync:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error: NSInvalidArgumentException
Reason: *** -[TextSync newtonConnected]: selector not recognized [self =
0x395b20]

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I give up on TextNotes until I can get someone to update it.
