Thanks for the comments. But here's what gets me: up until five or
six years ago, I swapped files back and forth every day at work and
at home. I can't figure out what's different. It isn't NCU, or really
OS 9. Did the old version of TextEdit save in a more compatible
format? Did Word?
TextEdit under OS X doesn't allow me to save as plain text. I will
try HTML and see what I come up with--or not.
