I live in Chicago (Lincoln Square, work in the Loop) and have just
this week been dusting off my MP2100 and messing around with it. I'd
be delighted to meet up and beam or otherwise help you get packages,
if Paul's excellent suggestion doesn't work for you.

I may even have in a box somewhere an extra keyspan USB->Serial
dongle you could use for a while...

I think there are a couple other Chicago area users on the list - any
takers for a meetup?
