[NTLK] Internet service providers that work with a Newton

I will be grateful for any advice on how to access the internet via a
dial-up internet service provider. I have tried to access the internet
using pay-as-you-go ISP's, but without success. I would prefer to use a
pay-as-you-go provider because I do not need to use the internet often.
I have tried to use Internet Setup using NIE, but cannot get the Newton
to actually dial in and get connected. I am guessing that it is a
problem with new protocols, or maybe a login script, but I do not really
now. The truth is that I understand little about computers and just
expect them to work.

Just for interest, I got my Newton about October last year. I upgraded
from a Palm Tungsten E. The Newton is much easier to write than a Palm
because of the large screen. The print recognizer is very good. I quite
like cursive as well, though it is not as accurate, for straight forward
words it can be quicker, and is so much coooler than Graffiti. I find
the Notes application invaluable, especially the Outline notes that I
use for planning. (I work in local government as a middle manager.) I
would really like to be able to use email and the internet.
