Hello,
I also have an IBM microdrive adaptor that works great with a Sandisk
32 MB card ... well, at least with the first 4MB ... I haven't paid
my $50 yet to M. Guyot, (as soon as I can I am going to buy it,
promise) I also have an SD > CF adaptor card that works on my 2K
with 256MB and 512MB SD cards ... (Again, just the first 4MB so far)
I got the SD > CF adaptor here:
http://www.mittoni.com.au/secure-digital-sd-to-cf-compactflash-card-
adapter-type-ii-p-1238.html?currency=USD
I've been using that set of adaptors in my Powerbooks for a while
with no trouble.

That is essentially correct, however in detail the PCMCIA slot has 68
pins and a CF slot has 50 pins.

The only difference between types I, II and III is the thickness:
• Type 1 - 3.3 millimeters thick
• Type 2 - 5.0 millimeters thick
• Type 3 - 10.5 millimeters thick
I'm pretty sure that the original Apple Flash Card is Type 1.
There is also some information about PCMCIA at:

Cheers, I've mostly been lurking on these lists, (sorry, I promise to
be more active in the future) and I want to thank you all for every
thing I've stolen^H^H^H^H^H^Hlearnt from you over the years.
;)
