      March 2006 Vintage/Obsolete Products
Applies to US/Canada/Europe/Latin America/Asia-Pacific
Also applies to Retail

On March 22, 2006, the following products will be classified as vintage or
obsolete in the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific
and Apple retail stores:

Vintage in the U.S./ Obsolete in CN/EU/LA/AP
<snip displays, iMacs, old servers>

Obsolete in US/CN/EU/LA/AP
<snip old displays, printers>
Newton eMate 300
Newton MessagePad 2000
Newton MessagePad 2100
<snip old PowerMacs, PowerBooks>

For vintage products in the U.S., service parts are only available to repair
older Apple products purchased in the state of California, as required by
statute. Owners of these products may obtain service and parts from Apple
service providers within the state of California.

Apple does not provide service parts nor service documentation for obsolete
products.

Note: There is no distinction between vintage and obsolete products in
Canada, Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and Apple retail stores.
