Resetting with the power button held down? That is the equivalent of "rm
-rf /*" on a unix box. That is the legendary brain wipe. That is saying
goodbye to a lot more than just a wonkey package. That is the erase
everything and start again sequence.
What you might do is put the tip of your stylus into the reset button hole
on the back cover until you hear the pleasant bong sound, but don't scrub
your system.
I have been working with these systems since 4 months before the OMP was
introduced and I have never had to do a wipe to fix anything, especially
jaggies. Jaggies are caused by pressure being applied by the case on the
digitizer layer. As an illustration, draw a diagonal line across the screen
and note how the displayed line tracks the stylus. The line will tend to
migrate towards the point of contact. For a lot of people it is the lower
right corner because that is where they rest their hand.
