Thanks for posting the Zodiac link, Brian!

We're avid gamers in our household, cliinging mostly to less-expensive, "obsolete" technologies: Playstation 1, Sega Genesys, Sega Nomad, Nintendo 64, and Nintendo GameCube. You ain't had fun 'til you've watched people's faces when you whip out the Sega Nomad for a mobile game of "MonsterBoy III in MonsterWorld" or "Shinobi"! {"No, ma'am, that's NOT a PSP!"}

We just found the Zodiac 2 sale a few days ago, and we immediately put in an order for one of the devices. We recognized that picking up the extremely versatile $400 device for a third of that was a great deal! The Zodiac 2 device can play videos, music, games, and also supports SDIO devices in ONE of the SD slots, so you can use camera or Wi-Fi attachments.

Here are a few excellent Zodiac 2 review links for your viewing pleasure:

Folks, if you're avid gamers like us, and you value portability, the Zodiac 2 deal Brian mentioned is an awesome deal! Better get one before one of the resident Newton eBay wh_at_res snaps them up and jacks up the price!

"As an owner, I can heartily recommend the Tapwave Zodiac 2. Dual SD
storage slots (one SDIO), stereo speakers, 480X320 hi-res screen with
a virtual Graffiti area that is perfect for reading e-books.
Tapwave went out of business, but there is a supply of Zodiacs from
the company that did the offical repairs for Tapwave."
